Currently sitting on floor cushion under kotatsu watching Kouhaku.. oh, ate soba too.. ;D
everything is nice except I have this 37.4 degree C fever XDD aaah well weather was like super cold and then unusually warm and then super cold again so...!!
Hopefully I will recover by 1st of Jan of 2010 but maybe that's too much to ask so I will just wish for a

2009 Year End Meme
What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?
I went to the gym regularly and it bore positive results, only to have it put to waste because I haven't gotten back to the gym since June.
Did you keep your New Years' Resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I had four for 2009:
- Bawal ma-late. Whether it's for school, an appointment or meet-up, or just plain lakad. It just got worse this year.
- Bawal magpagutom. I need to gain weight! Oh-Nine is weight gain year for me! Well, yeah. At some point I did gain weight thanks to gym. But I lost it when I stopped.
- Bawal matulog unless hindi pa sure sa mga inaaral. This just got worse as well. I'd sleep than study at all.
- Mag-update ng blog as often as possible. Like thrice a week or so. More like twice a month, LOL.
For 2010, I think I'll stop making promises and just have to walk the walk.
Did anyone close to you give birth?
Not that I know of.
Did anyone close to you die?
An uncle, and the father of my sister-in-law.
What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
Better grades. I've lost my drive to study really hard.
What days from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory?
The days when I spend my afternoons at the DSP Lab. Days when I go out for videoke and Rockband with my friends. The day when I found out that I failed EEE 53, and I was crying like a kid at the 4th Floor of EEE with Chow and Tin comforting me. The weekly Exeboard meetings. Awitan 2009.
What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Elected VP for Academic Affairs of UP Circuit. Became a student affiliate of the DSP Lab.
What was your biggest failure?
Failing EEE 53. First time in my whole life that I failed.
Did you suffer illness or injury?
Lots of times when I had colds.
What was the best thing you bought for 2009?
Gym membership and Kaiser, my netbook.
Where did most of your money go?
Most of my money went to food, to prepaid load, and to Kaiser.
What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Cagayan de Oro LOL (na hindi pa naman talaga totally sure, and that's for next year pa). Winning 4th (3rd EWOC) for Awitan 2009. Rockband sessions.
What song(s) will always remind you of 2009?
Korean Pop. The Script songs. Rockband songs.
Compared to this time last year, are you:
i. happier or sadder? I'd say sadder. But the more you feel sad, the more you feel happy with the littlest things.
ii. thinner or fatter? 4 pounds fatter, 4 pounds thinner.
iii. richer or poorer? Neither.
What do you wish you'd done more?
Focused more on my studies.
What do you wish you'd done less of?
Lumandi. And becoming a mess.
What was your favorite TV program?
I can't remember if I actually sat in front of the TV screen and actually 'watched' TV. Then again, to answer the question: Disney Channel shows, Big Bang Theory and Boys Over Flowers.

A new netbook.
What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I turned 20 this year, and I had dinner with friends.
What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Had I had less problems at school, I think 2009 would have been better. There was so much going on with my academics for the whole year, and I always sought for time off by spending more time with friends. Had I had less problems at school, I would have enjoyed my friends' company more genuinely.
How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2009?
I still wore clothes that weren't too big for me, and I value comfort and style.
What kept you sane?
Videoke. Rockband. Korean Pop. Sleep. Internet.
What political issue stirred you the most?
The slow progress regarding the Maguindanao massacre.
Who did you miss?
High school batchmates.
Who was the best new person you met?
Too many to mention.
Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2009.
Life's too short to take things seriously. It has not always been, and it will never be, about what's at the end of the road - what matters more is the experience, the climb. See, ganyan ko kamahal si Miley Cyrus LOL joke.
What did you like the most about yourself this year?
I'd have to say: the fact that I'm learning the art of nonchalance.
What did you hate most about yourself this year?
I'm losing drive with studying.

Over-all? Over-all? It wasn't. I felt too drained from everything this year.

Oscar-Best-Actor-for-Drama mode because I failed EEE 53.

The Genie EP (SNSD). Also, The Script (The Script), released in 2008 but I dl-ed the album just a few months ago LOL.
Did you drink a lot of alcohol in 2009?
Not much, compared with the past years.

When I failed EEE 53. It's so not me.
What was your proudest moment of 2009?
Waking up after every single tiring day.

Couldn't think of one for here too.
If you could go back in time to any moment of 2009 and change something, what would it be?
Had I not wasted time on some people, I guess I could have used my time and energy for other people and things which are more worth it.
What are your plans for 2010?
Focus more on school, and try to pull my GWA up back to cum Laude standing (kadiri talaga 1.9 something).
How are you different now that the year has ended?
I feel tired and wasted and so fuckin' messed up, more than ever. 2009 came by destructively like Ondoy - winds weren't so strong but there was a constant downpour of rain and it was really bad. I haven't felt this drained with everything.
What are your wishes for the new year?
I just hope 2010's much better than 2009.

| Project: Teleserye Booklet |

hindi kasi ako makatulog...for some reason bigla ko na lang binasa lahat ng nasa teleserye tag ko...at grabe kung babasahin mo lahat parang nandun na lahat. kung bakit ko siya nagustuhan, yung mga fears and confusions ko, at yung iba kong papa kapag nawawala siya sa picture lol.
tapos biglang nagkaroon ako ng idea.
naisip ko bakit hindi ko siya i-compile into one book tapos siguro pagka graduate ko i'll give a copy to rich and tell him to read it kapag marunong na siyang mag tagalog. lol. kasi karamihan naman sa mga entries ko tagalog. tsaka since it's out in the open na i might as well let him know about everything.
so starting tonight i'm going to transfer all my entries under the teleserye tag to publisher, print them, bind them, put one copy in a box and wrap it, and when the right time comes (most likely sa graduation day ko) i will give it to him.
do you think it's a good idea? you still have time to dissuade me ;P

I've meant to write a somewhat proper update since way back but didn't have the time wasn't in the mode for it so let's see how this goes... I have arrived in tokyo since end of november and now one month has been passed!
It's hard to describe it well but this one month seems to be long and short at the same time lol. From the time of carrying the luggage up the stairs to this old but cozy small apartment - with no curtains, minimum lights, no computer, no tables/chairs etc to the current state: typing on my mac laptop on this Muji kotatsu (assembled by me ;D), Muji floor chair (set up by me ;D),.. oh except hubby is currently assembling a Muji shelf.. I can say it's pretty much settled. Have I mentioned I'm in Muji heaven? ;D
From a failed and Muji-less Australia to Muji-heaven Japan yay!
Most of our household goods (and my clothes) are from Muji, they're easy to assemble, stylish, and not so expensive heheh.
oh, Arashi heaven too of course, more on that later.. I need time to sink in.. lol. Some random notes:
- didn't know there's a custom of buying small towels as gift for greeting the neighbors who live in the same block of apartment.
- I like this small apartment, I can hang curtains without standing on my toes let alone on a chair!
- sleeping on futon on tatami floor was nice for the first few days then I started to get stiff muscle due to sleeping on hard tatami floor (futon not thick enough XD).. oh and the labor of laying the futon every night and packing them back to the closet the next morning... I missed my bed very much but I guess I got used to the futon hard tatami floor now lol.
- finally! I could get away from killing spiders like three or four times a day.. XDD
- and of course, being able to watch arashi on tv is awesome!! but I still managed to miss the VS Arashi ever since they changed to golden time since it's just too early..! not home yet ah! err I think there's more but I gotta go now.. catch up later! ;D oh and I miss drawing!

wala akong na.A this sem >.< this is the first sem na ganun. Well except for GIP sem of course XD anyway what's worse is that ni A- wala rin -_-' well at least puro line vicinity(?) of B lang, walang C's thank god. Though i kinda expected this outcome na rin. I wasn't really motivated acad-wise during last sem. I think i'm losing my drive T_T maybe it's just senioritis. Maybe what happened to me nung 4th quarter ng 4th year sa pisay is happening again: nawawalan ng gana mag.excel kasi sure na na hindi maaatim yung highest hono(u)rs >_> pero this time, there are no competitions to keep me busy. Heck, the ever elusive lovelife is elusive pa rin 8-} haay.
I know the title of my lj is 'excellence is a way of life'. Pero what if i'm not meant to excel at physics? What if research isn't even for me? Actually, i've always known the answer: I can always teach. I've always wanted to teach at pisay ever since i started joining competitions. I think i can pass on the winning tradition by training pisay mathletes. However, there is always a downside: mahirap maging guro sa pinas -_-' literally >.< so what i could do is teach in singapore for a couple of years until i achieve financial stability, then come back to pisay to teach for the rest of my life :D but again, complications arise: paano ako magkaka.girlfriend niyan? 8-} gusto ko kasi talaga ng pinay. Pati mom ko gusto rin pinay eh XP though marami na nga ring professional ofws sa sg, mahirap pa rin talaga maghanap ng similar kayo ng background. Wth why am i even thinking about this at this time of night 0_o i better go to sleep then. But before i end, let me share something that my cousin jolo told me which really struck me: "huwag ka kasing maghanap ng type mo. Maghanap ka ng magmamahal sa 'yo." patay mas mahirap ata yun ah 8-}
